Our Green Painting is a unique service. The paints we use are all low odor, low-VOC or zero-VOC, 100% acrylic interior latex primer/sealer with spatter-resistant properties. Our cleaning supplies meet the highest standards to mitigate exposure to environmental toxins. We practice smart recycling techniques to reduce waste often associated with contracting projects, which in turn benefits the environment.

Indoor air

Since people today spend most of their time at home or in an office, long-term exposure to VOC's in the indoor environment can contribute to sick building syndrome.

The United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has found concentrations of VOC’s in indoor air commonly to be 2 to 5 times greater than in outdoor air and sometimes far greater.

New buildings especially, contribute to the highest level of VOC off-gassing in an indoor environment because of the abundant new materials generating VOC particles at the same time in such a short time period. Sources of VOC’s are household products including: paints, paint strippers, and other solvents; wood preservatives; aerosol sprays; cleansers and disinfectants; moth repellents and air fresheners; stored fuels and automotive products; hobby supplies; dry-cleaned clothing.
