We Save You Money
Maybe
we can’t agree on global warming, but we all
can agee it's a good time to find ways to
save money.
Energy efficiency and conservation means
eliminating waste, slashing energy costs,
saving money, and helping create a
sustainable world.
Think about something as simple as the light
bulbs in your house.
If every U.S. household replaced just one
regular incandescent light bulb with a
compact fluorescent light bulb (CFL), it
would prevent 90 billion pounds of
greenhouse gas emissions from power plants.
That's the equivalent of taking 7.5 million
cars off the road, and would light 2.5
million homes for a year.
For every regular incandescent light bulb
you replace with a CFL you save $30 over the
life of the bulb. When you multiple that by
the amount of lights you have in your
home---the savings become significant.
Through energy efficiency and water
conservation we can save you thousands of
dollars. |

Recycling
Recycling is an important part of our daily
lives.
Many cities and towns require recycling for
a broad range of products.
Recycling has always been a part of our
culture. In the 1920’s 70% of cities ran
programs recycling certain materials. During
World War II, industry recycled about 25% of
the waste stream. Today we recycle about 33%
of the waste stream.
By recycling at home, you help significantly
lower carbon emissions associated with
extracting virgin materials, manufacturing
products and waste disposal.
The benefits of recycling include saving
money, saving energy, creating new jobs,
reducing air and water pollution, saving
land space, and preserving wildlife.
And although recycling is on the upswing,
new problems exist, like e-waste and
consumerable plastics.
We provide programs and solutions to some of
today's recycling challanges. |
